"About Us" ... all of the Team-U-Fitness-Training "W's" Answered ...Who, What & Why!




About Us - The "Who":


This TEAM-U site is built around tons of knowledge, expertise and experience that has been gained from a variety of both professional and fitness "expert" sources, as well as from Mr. Jensen's own fitness training and nutritional experiences over the past several years. Many of the exercises and "Body Food" concepts on the pages of Team-U-Fitness-Training.com have been extrapolated and modified based on advice from both doctors of the medical and chiropractic discipline, licensed physical therapists as well as certified fitness center experts. Team-U-Fitness-Training.com is grateful for the assistance of these individuals and the ever evolving ideas that are now available, and those that will be presented on this site in the future.


Mr. Jensen has personally participated in, and successfully completed (4) "Body-for-Life" 12-week programs .... dropping his weight and size from 246 lbs and a size 40 to 189 lbs and a size 34!


On December 4th, 2010 Mr. Jensen achieved 1st Dan (Degree) Black Belt ranking in the martial art of Tae Kwon Do or Taekwondo, (either spelling is acceptable) from his local Taekwondo school. Mr. Jensen's training is in the Chang-hon forms, which is traditional Taekwondo. (better known as International Taekwondo Federation or ITF forms).


In addition to his local Taekwondo school's 1st Dan Black Belt rank, Mr. Jensen has broadened his training and has reached out for additional certification of his martial arts training. He has also earned, and has been awarded a nationally recognized 1st Dan Black Belt Rank certification through the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), effective November 11th, 2010.


Mr. Jensen also earned, and has been awarded an internationally recognized 1st Dan Black Belt rank through the Kukkiwon in Seoul Korea, effective February 5th, 2011. The Kukkiwon is the governing body for all World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) activity in the entire world, and is also the governing organization that certifies and/or verifies the Dan ranking of all hopeful and potential Olympic Taekwondo competitors.


Mr. Jensen is continuing to train hard in both ITF and WTF Taekwondo and is on a pace to test for his 2nd Dan (Degree) Black Belt in early 2012.

The "What" ... where do we begin? Good exercise and good nutrition directed at YOUR specific needs. No, there are no magical and quick answers. Proper fitness and nutrition are learned over a period of time and then continuously applied over the long haul.


The bottom line is that you need the right "Body Food" (nutrition), Resistance training and Aerobic training to achieve your peak performance condition. This Team-U site is dedicated to bringing you as much useful information as possible in all (3) of these areas. Remember though ... keep it simple. A simple, yet effective program is what we will always advocate. If it's simple ... and it works ... You will be more likely to keep doing it and then ... YOU win!! Check out all of our pages for loads of ideas, and we're always updating the site with new things, so check back often!!



About Us - The "Why":



Hello again friend! I introduced myself on the Home page ... but in case you missed it ... I'm Brian Jensen, Director of "Team-U-Fitness-Training.com". Like you, I'm just a regular guy who strives to put together the best program for both my exercise and nutrition needs, which for me is one geared towards success in my martial arts training.

Team-U-Fitness-Training.com was created because I was frustrated with the fact that most programs or sites are geared towards body builders, models, famous folks and such. They didn't really address where I wanted to be. Of course, they're getting paid to tell you their program works, so they're sure not going to tell you anything negative about their sponsor's product.


What about the rest of us, I wondered??? The result ..... Team-U-Fitness-Training.com. Join me as we take this journey to improve our health and well being!


Remember, as I have said throughout this site .... Our mission is simple. We're here to help YOU achieve your nutrition and exercise goals, and we'll offer a variety of ideas, because what works for me may not work for you. One last thing ... remember we are a TEAM at TEAM U. YOU are not a number here. We care about YOU! Your personal nutrition, health and fitness training are our primary goal.
